We
started with the idea to create an affordable, competitive race car. The result
is Time Bandit a 1350 pound precision welded, race chassis mated
with a hand-laid fiberglass composite body. The body is styled after a 1977
Trans Am made famous in the Smokey & the Bandit movies.
The dream for us started over a dozen years ago and recently became
a reality.

Time Bandit has undergone numerous test-n-tune time trials, and has won several rounds of racing. We are still looking for our first final round victory! We are extremely satisfied with the race-ready reliability and superior performance of the small block"stroker" powerplant.
We feel the car has lots of room for growth with minimal changes to the existing engine. The chassis exceeds the latest in NHRA safety and licensing standards.
Note: this car is currently set up as a Pro No "E" bracket racer.
1000 ft numbers place the car solidly in the mid 7's and 130's range. Car with Driver is 1550 lbs.
